- The WHO Probe is a periodontal probe furnished with a ball tip out of surgical-grade Stainless Steel and with an easy-to-read, resistant, non-fading, dark scale to determine the Periodontal Screening Index (PSI).
- In addition to the visual diagnosis, the use of a ball-tipped periodontal probe allows a metrical registration as well as the early detection of the severity of periodontal disease.
- The WHO Probe enables the dentist on the one hand to determine the necessity of additional diagnostics and, on the other hand, to select the according to prophylaxis and therapy measures.
